What makes it different
vs free patch libraries
Free libraries are great for browsing. Here, every upload is reviewed, lists exactly what it needs to open, and earns its creator money when members download it.
vs sample subscriptions
Sample subscriptions are for loops and one-shots. Rack Collective is for what you build with: racks, patches, Max devices and Extensions. Most producers will use both.
vs selling on your own
No shop to set up, no audience to build alone. As a member, upload once and earn from every download, keep your rights, and share your sounds anywhere else too.
35%
of net subscription revenue goes to the creators
For creators
Every month, 35% of what Rack Collective earns from subscriptions goes into a creator pool. The pool is shared by downloads: if your racks, patches and presets make up 5% of all member downloads that month, you receive 5% of the pool. With 1,000 members, that's around $2,700 shared every month.
No exclusivity. Your sounds stay yours, and you can share them anywhere else.
Payouts are a member benefit, sent monthly once you reach $10 (anything below rolls over). Only paying members' downloads count, once per sound per month, and never your own. When someone remixes your work, 20% of the remix's downloads are credited to you. Net revenue means after payment processing fees and sales taxes.
Open payouts
Each month, a public page shows what came in, the size of the creator pool, and how it was shared by downloads. Updated automatically, no spreadsheets behind closed doors.

Challenge of the month
Every month, one constraint. Everyone posts a rack or patch, the community votes, and the winner gets featured on the homepage plus 3 free months of membership.
$0
$4 USD / month
Then $9 USD/month, or $90/year (2 months free).
The first 50 members keep $4/month for life. Waitlist members get first access to those spots. Joining the waitlist is free: you only pay if you choose a plan when we launch.
Get first access to a $4 spotNo. Only your own creations. Factory presets and commercial samples belong to their makers.
The listing tells you before you download, and the “My setup” filter hides those sounds from your results.
They contain code, so every Extension and Max for Live device is reviewed before it's published. Anything that looks suspicious is rejected.
Yes. Uploading gives Rack Collective permission to host and share your sounds with members. You keep ownership and can share them anywhere else.
Yes, in one click. Founding members who cancel lose the $4 price, so the spot can go to someone else.
